Kuruganti representatives are invited as industry resources during our FDPs for faculty of AP Govt Polytechnics. The sessions handled by Kuruganti in FDPs are well received by the participants because of their content delivery as well as the way hands-on labs are handled.

I have tried many PLC software before. KLadSoft, KURUGANTI’s proprietary PLC Simulator, is awesome and so simple for students to use.

We started with basic circuits, learned industry approved soldering techniques, testing and industrial best practices. KURUGANTI is different from other so-called "training centres" because each trainee is given individual attention, trained at the pace they learn.
After learning the basics skills, we are moved on to complex activities such as integrating individual circuits, mechanical assembly and making a product. We will also be allowed to design your own product. We would confidently say that it is not an eye wash like other “training institutes” who demand a high amount of money and teach you nothing. Now, it is fun when we perform experiments in the college, as we know exactly what is inside each trainer kit.

Attended FDP for ECE faculty, organised by NITTTR-AP. Guest faculty from KURUGANTI GROUP provided valuable information on the skills sought-after by core industries. We were also given very meaningful advice on techniques and ideas for skill development.
Proprietary software designed by KURUGANTI, specifically for knowledge transfer were also demonstrated. They are very useful teaching tools.

Industry-Academia Interaction on 'Preparing for a Career in Engineering', conducted by the KSDI team enlightened us on the opportunities in core industries. We are very motivated to pursue a career in engineering. We understand the importance of the topics being taught in our curriculum, and the value of practical hands-on experience. We will take additional efforts to develop our skills as electronics engineers, under the able guidance of the KSDI team.

We have an MoU with Kuruganti Group for workshops, internships, industry-academia itneractions, and our students participated in a long-term workshop on PLCs and Automation. Generally, other automation workshops cover only PLC programming and configuration, and are not hands-on. The KSDI workshop was 100% hands-on. It not only covered PLC configuration, programming and operation, but also transducers, signal conditioning, actuators, drives and their applications. All these are critical components in an automation system. The knowledge shared was very useful. The purpose of each exercise was explained and that gave us the right perspective. The instructors had in-depth knowledge of every topic being covered. Every aspiring engineer should register as a Kuruganti Skill Development Initiative member and benefit from their skill development activities, in preparation for a career in engineering.

We attended a 4 day workshop on electronics applications. Each of us performed all the exercises individually, most of the time was hands-on and we got to work on actual products being used in the industries. Focus was on training from an industry perspective, we learned a lot more than what we learned in our labs.

I was good academically, but had very little exposure to new product development. During my win-ternship at Kuruganti, I got to experience the entire Product Development Life Cycle from concept to completion. This had eventually paved the way for great start to my embedded engineering career before I graduated.

I did my win-ternship at Kuruganti during the winter break and worked on solution development for testing analog and digital ICs. Interaction with Krishna Sastry sir has taught me to approach problems without intimidation and solving it through technology and/or processes where needed. This impressed my interviewer and started my career as a solution development engineer. Thank KSDI for their genuine and sincere efforts in improving the skills of students.

Mr. Krishna Sastry approached me in April 2016, sharing his views and opinions on extra-curricular skill development, and also about KSDI. I was very impressed with his attitude and could immediately feel the sincerity and seriousness with which Kuruganti was handling the KSDI. I suggested they associate with us immediately in handling the Faculty Development Programme conducted for the lecturers of Andhra Pradesh Government Polytechnics. He has been a regular on FDPs from then on. Now, lecturers personally request me to invite him on every FDP.
